These kinds of blogger web sites are going to disappear, you know the talk boards. They are used very much for online courses, but they are not Twitter. Upgrading them to archive will be a task no one will find lucrative, and thus they will not be around for eternity.

Answer:
Definitely Sam Catchem, he was treated by Tracy as an equal through most of the strip. Sam was resourceful, clearly his own man, and on occasion been known to spout "Nekie hokie".

As our newest member pointed out, it's been a little quiet around here lately. I'm guilty of it myself, so I have a question for you guys and it will be interesting to see who gets the majority of the vote.
That is, who do you think was a more worthy partner to Tracy during the Gouldian days, Sam Catchem or Pat Patton? I personally would have to say Catchem, because unlike Pat much of the time, he was a more
serious character. True he was used as comic relief at first, with his crush on Sleet and dressing up in drag to help catch Pear Shape, but soon he became more serious.
That and I just found him a more distinctive and memorable character than Patton.Patton, for years had the traditional quirky sidekick syndrome. Especially since he was used as almost solely comic relief at first. Although Patton has his equal share of trouble shared with Tracy and even saved Tracy's life by giving him a blood transfusion. And not only that, but should we include Lizz into the mix?
What does everyone else think?
Beau
