One day at Country Place, on a walk down South Peach Hollow Circle, Dad was moving along fairly well with his walker, as I walked along with. We usually opened up about "things" on our walks. Somehow we started talking about Social Security and the US monetary system. Dad fully believed that Social Security had been "in trouble" before and the right people would get in charge of it and make it right again.

Then we talked about banks and how Dad said they come and go. I mentioned that the Federal Reserve is privately owned. Dad got real quiet, and we walked down the road a while when I asked "What are you thinking about, Dad?"

He replied, "I'm thinking about what you just said." Dad had never heard that bit of information, or he had, but thought elected officials were part of the money watchers out there in government land. I didn't press the subject, as I didn't want our walk to turn ugly. But to this day I have a nagging feeling that the WWII generation did not know this about our monetary system, that is, it is clandestinely manipulated by an elite group of international bankers. It is not the "venerated" higher meaning organization that media gives it credit for, rather a three ring circus run by un-elected, out of the loop, probably pea brained, obviously buffoonish clowns.

Have you ever asked ~~

What is the Federal Reserve – and Why is it Private? | Wake Up World: "If the American people truly understood how the Federal Reserve system works and what it has done to us, they would be screaming for it to be abolished immediately. It is a system that was designed by international bankers for the benefit of international bankers, and it is systematically impoverishing the American people. The Federal Reserve system is the primary reason why our currency has declined in value by well over 95 percent and our national debt has gotten more than 5000 times larger over the past 100 years. The Fed creates our “booms” and our “busts”, and they have done an absolutely miserable job of managing our economy."
